Adult Volunteers

Bible Study Facilitators (Adults)

Bible Study facilitators prepare for and deliver weekly instruction to mid-high, high school and college level students.  Through interaction and teaching, facilitators impact the student’s spiritual growth and development and greater understanding of their faith.  

 

Database Team (Adults)

Responsible for maintaining the N-Spire database for the youth at Windsor Village. Data Entry persons are needed and will be trained  on how to input youth records into the N-Spire database, print labels and to keep the youth records current for N-Spire.  The database provides a good address source for mass distribution of material and communication for events.  Volunteers are needed that have data entry skills and a desire to work with technology. 

 

Evangelism/Missions (Grades 6-12 & Adults)

The Evangelism/Missions ministry is responsible for training and mentoring our young people through hands on experience (feeding the hungry/helping the sick/and less fortunate), in the mission fields for Jesus Christ. (Local & global)  Taking the Gospel from the church into the world until everyone has had the opportunity to hear and feel the message of Jesus and accept Him as Lord.  (Mark 16:15)

 

Hospitality (Adults)

The Hospitality committee is responsible for social and special events planning. Duties include the selection and catering of meals and/or snacks, setup and cleanup for student events and programs supported by youthOutbreaklive.

 

Ministry Assimilation (Adults)

Ministry Assimilation team assists new volunteers in locating the right ministry to use their gifts and talents to serve in Outbreaklive. This team tracks the volunteers training and service records along with calling volunteers with opportunities to serve in ministry events.  Volunteers are needed that are enthusiastic about ministry and willing to use their administrative skills to serve.

 

Parent Committee (Adults)

The Parent Committee consists of parents/guardians who support  youthOutbreaklive by being involved in the input and implementation of youth programs. The committee will foster an atmosphere of parent networking, and exposure to enlighten parenting skills.

 

Pastoral Care (Adults)

The Pastoral Care team is responsible for providing care and support for Outbreak youth and their families, ministry leaders and volunteers. These individuals minister to the needs of Outbreak families by showing caring behaviors such as sending cards for a variety of life situations such as get well, birthdays, sympathy, etc. and by identifying other areas of need wherein our church family may be able to provide assistance.

 

Product Sales (Adults)

youthOutbreaklive sells products that support our youth in sharing their Christian faith in music, clothing, snacks and special events.  Volunteers are needed that are interested in supporting the sale of these products during hang time (after service) and at ministry events.

 

Puppet Ministry (Grades 5-12)

The puppet ministry uses puppets to share the gospel with Christians and non-Christians in all walks of life.  Puppets tell bible stories and teach life application of biblical morals through scripts written in a fun and humorous way and clear concept. Music and audience participation are an integral part of getting the message across. We are seeking adult volunteers who may have interest or skills in the following areas:  creative writing, audio/visual, performance staging, props, costumes, sewing, shopping, planning and coordination.

 

Registration Committee (Adults)

This committee is responsible for coordinating registration for any youth event at Windsor Village. Registration will take place for paid and non-paid events. This  involves creating and distributing forms, collecting fees when applicable, tracking and reporting the number of attendees signed up for events.

 

Special Events (Adults)

The Special Events team consists of volunteers with strong organization, coordination, administration and interpersonal skills.  Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are desired.  Volunteers are trained in the ministry planning process and work across all ministry areas to ensure that youthOutbreaklive events are done in a spirit of excellence.

 

Sports and Recreation (Adults)

The Sports and Recreation Ministry provides recreational fellowship opportunities for youth and volunteers. An important aspect of the ministry is to show the community that Christians are able to have fun in the name of Jesus in a safe atmosphere and that a saved life does not mean a boring life.  This ministry reaches out to youth where other ministry opportunities may not have been able to reach them.  Volunteers are needed that have a passion for sports, enjoy working with youth, know of resources in the area of sports and have skills in planning and administration.
